Ways to Get Involved

It takes a complete community to create great public schools. That's why the Education Foundation is focused on increasing public understanding and support for our public schools. You are invited to get involved in our schools.

Principal for a Day

Community and business leaders are invited into the schools to learn about the challenges, responsibilities, and decisions that principals face. For more information on the 2008 Principal for the Day Program click here.

Volunteer for Education Foundation

Volunteer to serve on the Education Foundation Board of Directors. The Education Foundation Board of Directors is an all volunteer working board. We are parents, concerned citizens, civic and business leaders and educators. Board members are expected to attend monthly meetings and actively serve on one committee. The estimated time commitment is 5 hours per month. For a Board of Director's job description, click here.

Volunteer to work on a special event or committee. We need volunteers to plan and implement our annual signature event - The Trivia Bee and to help develop our marketing and public relations program. Volunteer in our Schools

Many people probably haven't visited a school since walking out the door upon graduation. Today, there are endless opportunities for the community to interact with Bend-La Pine Schools.
