We are an independent, non-profit organization that believes a vibrant public school system is essential to the social and economic well being of our community. Thanks to increasing support from our community, we have provided over $650,000 in support to our teachers, classrooms and students since 2003.

Priorities 2013 - 2014
Through the 2013 academic year, our priorities are to:
- Provide tools for teachers, with an emphasis on technology and science
- Enhance community and parental involvement in our schools; and
- Support art and music in classrooms

CLASSROOM GRANT APPLICATION DEADLINE HAS PASSED FOR 2014. Thank you to everyone who submitted all the wonderful requests! The grants have been reviewed and the funding recommendations of the review committee are awaiting final approval. Grant recipients will be notified soon, and a complete list of all recipients will be posted here shortly thereafter. Please check back soon!
The ODS 2014 Trivia Bee raised over $43,000 for Foundation Programs and especially this year's Classroom Grants!! THANK YOU TO ALL SPONSORS, PARTICIPANTS, AUDIENCE MEMBERS AND VOLUNTEERS!
The 4th annual Chili Cook off was a HUGE success! Thanks to Title Sponsor Ace Hardware, all the participating restaurants and donors, and all the great Central Oregon Chili fans, we raised approximately $14,000 to provide much needed Activity Fee Scholarships to children in need!
Thanks to Mt. Bachelor and all of you who participated in Ski for Schools 2011, we raised over $14,000 for Education Foundation efforts supporting Bend, La Pine and Redmond Schools!
